Synopsis

Kisszu World Symphony is a poetic platform-adventure Metroidvania and a non-violent musical adventure where children play either as Elämä and her companion Kisszu to dance, sing and heal the world. They embark on a journey through 12 forests, each inspired by real-world ecosystems and cultures. From the rhythms of Latin America, to the mysticism of the Middle East, the rich culture of Europe and exotic animals of Africa and Asia. Each of the forests has been intoxicated and transformed by Apina, the Black Monkey, a sinister servant of the Prince, whose laughter and fumes poison nature itself. In each world, Elämä is greeted by the spirit of an extinct animal — a guide that reminds her (and the player) of our fragile biodiversity. To restore the forest, she must explore, solve puzzles, and collect seven fragments of a song, that is part of the forest symphony: drums, strings, voices, and more, unique to that particular forest culture’s music. As Elämä dances through the forest avoiding poisoned animals, solves problems and fragments of the forest symphony are assembled, nature begins to heal and breathe again: flowers bloom, animals heal, and ecosystems return to life. By the time the final note is unlocked, players witness a breathtaking cinematic concert — a full song sung in the local language, transforming the entire world back to vibrant color. This becomes the key to opening the gate to the next forest (level), and the next melody in the world symphony. The journey is enriched with educational DNA: Learn three hint words in twelve languages (like thank you, gracias, ありがとう (Arigatō), danke. Or go on, adelante, いこう (Ikō!), mach weiter, etc.). Meet animals named in their native tongue (lion, león, ライオン (Raion), löwe). Discover flora and fauna in STEM-inspired learning and exploration. Crystals gathered along the way unlock animal spirit powers: stomp like an elephant, shrink like an ant, or glide as a butterfly. Essential abilities are part of the adventure, while optional paid packs (bee, spider, jaguar) expand replayability. Kisszu World Symphony is an ode to culture, music, and nature — a new kind of Metroidvania where children learn, heal, and play their way to saving the planet.

Gameplay

How We Play
Kisszu World Symphony is not about beating enemies, it's about bringing life back. Children step into Elämä's shoes to explore forests darkened by corruption, mirroring the destruction and neglect in our own world, and inspiring children to imagine and create ways to heal it.
-
Explore culturally rich ecosystems where every tree, river and creature has an important role to play in the whole.
-
Collect seven fragments of a song, and the twelve songs of the world symphony. Each world's unique rhythm, from taiko drums in Japan, to bachata in Latin America.
-
Unlock animal abilities, the strength and memory of the elephant, the smallest yet mighty power of the ants and their community, the beautiful and graceful flight of the butterfly.
-
Solve puzzles that whisper hints in local languages, nudging children to think, try, and learn.
-
Heal the world! Every step of Elämä's dance restores life. Every song fragment revives more of the forest. Every completed song brings a cinematic concert that renews one forest culminating with the world symphony of 12 world songs to heal the entire forest.
Join a cinematic and joyful experience of caring, learning more about our world and all living creatures, and being inspired to become an actor of healing and change in real life.
How Kids Learn
Learning here is not a lesson — it is playful discovery. Every mechanic of the game is designed to nurture curiosity: about languages, cultures, biology, and the fragile balance of ecosystems. Children are not “taught” in a classroom way; they experience learning as they dance, explore, and bring life back to the forests.
-
Languages - three words or phrases per forest teaching kids gratitude, encouragement, and friendship across cultures.
-
Biodiversity - extinct animal guides appear as companions, sharing their stories and reminding players of the importance of protecting what remains.
-
Biology & STEM - flora and fauna become part of puzzles and progression showing how natural systems work together and how small changes ripple through ecosystems.
-
Culture & Music - each forest is infused with authentic rhythms and instruments: African drums, Japanese taiko, Middle Eastern percussion, Latin American beats, European strings, etc. Children don't just hear the music, they play inside it and even get inspired to learn how to play a new instrument.
-
Heal the world! Every step of Elämä's dance restores life. Every song fragment revives more of the forest. Every completed song brings a cinematic concert that renews one forest culminating with the world symphony of 12 world songs to heal the entire forest.
The result is a game where every moment of fun also builds knowledge, empathy, and care for the world we all share.
How We Monetise
The World Symphony is designed for families: accessible from the start, fair in its progression, and sustainable for growth. Monetisation is not about pressure but about extending joy and discovery across time, giving children more ways to explore while ensuring the business scales and is profitable.
-
Base Game - premium adventure, fairly priced for families (PC/Mac/Console €29-34), Mobile €9-14 - where the € 29 and 9 will be the costs during campaigns and offers).
-
Animal Ability Packs - optional add-ons like the insect pack with additional spiders, wasps, bumblebees and other abilities. Or the cats pack with exciting abilities from the chetah, panthers, and other animals that expand replayability and unlock new forms of play (€1.99 - 9.99)
-
Customisation & Cosmetic - expressive skins, unique dresses for Elämä and collars for Kisszu that upgrade some abilities and allow the personalisation of their hero characters.
-
Crystals - earned through exploration, with optional purchase for families who want faster upgrades, more energy, or further customisation.
-
Cross Media Bundles - special packages that combine the game with our books, audiobooks, snacks, and future robots, tying families deeper into the Kisszu universe.
This model creates predictable, family friendly revenue while staying true to our mission: inspiring children through play, not exploiting them, or increasing dependency through screens.

Story

In the first book of the trilogy Kisszu: The Girl, The Lights, and The Prince, Chapter 2 marks a turning point. Elämä leaps beyond the living wall of vines that has hidden her all her life, and discovers the ruins of the Twelve Forests. Once, they were the Cities of the Twelve Children, where cultures lived in harmony with nature. Now, centuries after the Prince’s destruction, the Black Monkey spreads his corruption, leaving behind twisted trees, trembling animals, and a forest drowned in sorrowed purple.
Every step of Elämä’s dance brings life back: flowers bloom, roots mend, and voices stir. Each puzzle solved, each fragment of a song reclaimed, restores another part of the forest. And when all twelve songs are sung in harmony, the World Symphony will rise again.
The novel touches only briefly on what happened in the Twelve Forests, but it purposely leaves space for Kisszu World Symphony to expand the story and dive deeper into the Lore.
This is the power of building a transmedia universe — where novels, games, music, and products all sing together, creating vast new adventures for Kisszu fans to explore and fall in love with.
Target Audience

Kisszu World Symphony is crafted to resonate deeply across generations, led by a strong female hero who naturally draws in both girls and boys. The gaming world reflects this shift: nearly 49% of players globally are women, and the family gaming sector is projected to grow to $180 billion by 2030—with Gen Z demanding eco-conscious storytelling now more than ever.

Competition & Positioning

Competition
We love competition, it shows there's demand and space for bold ideas. But most games in this space lean heavily on combat or abstract experiences. Kisszu World Symphony takes a different path: healing instead of fighting, story woven with education and a transmedia heartbeat that goes far beyond the screen. (Note: I play Ori and Zelda with my daughter (7) and occasionally her friends visiting and they all hate the fighting part, but love to explore)

Proven Demand in Narrative Games
Kisszu's Transmedia Advantage

Ori & the Will of the Wisps
Stunning, award-winning, but combat forward. Not built for co-play with kids.
Neva
Emotional and artful, yet single-track narrative. Very difficult for kids and little replay or learning.
Journey
Poetic exploration, minimal friction-beautiful, but light on culture & education.
AAA Open World Adventure
Beloved massive worlds exploration genre, yet fighting centred, alienating for children.
